I am sure they will sell when they look less like an Anne Summers accessory and more prêt-à-porter. Not that I would be unhappy with the better half taking these for a spin in the Ms. Summers way. grin2

You can't just leave us hanging... why not! idea

As a non-high heel wearing member of the population, I'd like to know why this idea is doomed. laugh2

ok a) does it really look THAT good?? waiting
b) when u fold the heel up..aren't u gonna be walking on it so it could get all scuffed and covered in mud..? coffee
c) doesn't it mean that the heels aren't be as strong, which could pose sum problems maybe?

imho jst keep a pair of flats in the boot - problem solved.

coffee

hmmm... I think they look quite intriguing!! Ok, the colour scheme may be somewhat questionable, and walking on the back of the stiletto heel is out of the question unless you like the "mashed up heel look" - although my heels always end up looking like that anyway after a couple of walks through London (so many gaps between paving blocks - why can't they just use tarmac!?!?). soapbox

But having to drive lots for work and go on hikes across London, whilst showing up at a customer site in high heels, a shoe like this (with the obvious design flaws worked out) would be absolutely awesome!!

My biggest worry would be how stable they can make that shoe without having too much flex with the heel down, and too much curvature with the heel up. So I'd be well up for trialling this shoe and provide a full first-hand (or would it be a first-foot) report. Any sponsors???

Alternatively, I'll keep the roads a dangerous place by continuing to drive in high heels!! laugh2

Your not walking on it, your using it so that you could drive properly innocent

I'm sure they would have thought of it, and made it stronger.
As for keeping a pair of flats in the boots? It would save far more time and conveniece to fold the heel in than openning the boot and change shoes

Alarm-what's? In theory yes, but every morning, I wonder what that irritating sound is that has to be stopped at all cost in order to remain asleep!! rofl
