Over the eleven years (not long really)of Morganing with 2 X +8's and the 4/4 Sport it is the most used bit of kit.

I'm normally solo as her indoors likes GTI driving with dry feet..

Not old enough for an easy up roof yet but you never can tell what the future holds, I may have to succumb one day.

I like the mod that Michael in Morgan Germany has had done to his tonneau, a lot better for the winter damp runs.

Great bit of kit; I use mine all the time. I went with the 9 stud hood as I didn't buy the mog to drive with the roof up, even in light rain. . I could probably count the number of times I've put the hood up in my 3 1/2 years of ownership on the fingers of both hands. The tonneau provides the interior with some protection from showers, sun dust etc when parked up.

+1. I rarely used the hood before this year (and not at all now the mice have eaten it!)

To protect or hide the interior when parking, I have the "shower cap" i.e. rain protector. Mine is the Walker St Clair version. It is designed to go over the erected hood but fits perfectly well over the open cockpit and takes only two minutes to fit, held in place by bungee cords. Much easier than putting the hood up - even though mine is the "easy-up" hood.

Driving in winter I find the heater is powerful (2005 car) and I also have heated seats (Allon-White), and I always have side screens on - so I don't use the tonneau at all and wouldn't even order one if I was buying new.

She is a beauty meabh and liking the side exhaust exit - that's a very fancy tailored toneau you have there.

Stunning picture.

Mog 1999 in Scotland it rained like hell going up I got soaked swmboJnr ( 7 YEAR OLD at the time ) came with me and slept under the ton cover seat belt on . She was as dry as sticks heater going .
The funny bit we arrived went looking for the Yorkshire lot and found them in a pub ( HOW STRANGE ) . I was hungry so went with Jnr to find a chippy after a hour not one open so returned to pub . A glass of lemonade for Jnr and a 1/2 of the black stuff for me Jnr gulped it down then started I am tired daddy yawn yawn yawn yawn. I gave my 1/2 not touched to one lad and we walked to the B&B I put Jnr in the room went out to put the hood up on the mog and the side screens . Returned to the room and Jnr was jumping around like a bag of beans . I thought you where tired . NO DADDY THAT WAS A TRICK TO GET YOU OUT OF THE PUB or you would have been there all night . 7 year old and she pulled that on her dad . Now you know why I don't stand a chance. notworthy
