It seems that the tonneau cover is a worthwhile optional extra for me, though perhaps it is more trouble than it's worth for those who drive in more changeable conditions.

My Morganing is like the way you anticipate using yours. In two years the hood has been used once and the tonneau cover quite regularly although on lovely summer days doesn't get used very often even when I'm parked up.

To be really pedantic do you mean "raise and lower" the easy up hood or do you mean " remove and refit to car " hide

Raising and lowering takes 30-40 seconds removal and refit takes several hours sos

Fitting and removing the Tonneau cover around two minutes with practice flag

I did indeed mean "remove and refit to car". I think I shall not bother with that!

Fora: the plural of forum.

Forum: an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.

So, Ken is right, Fora not Forums if you wish to stick to correct Latin grammar.

But What is a Forum? Is it this place, "Talk Morgan", or is it the indvidual thread? If the latter then the correct use would be "Talk Morgan Fora"....

But almost 2000 years after ancient Rome ceased to matter do we really need to worry about the grammar of the language used then, or are we free to use modern English plurals? I think so.

Latin.....did it for 2 years in school....
Latin is a language as dead as dead can be.It killed the ancient Romans and damn well near killed me!
Not strictly true as it's still in use but I have to avoid the wrath of a pendant ! hide

Just remembered.......
Whilst stopped at lights in a downpour with just my tonneau cover on I put up an umbrella.
Worked ok til I had to move on and attracted some odd looks and photos... was in the middle of Mumbles on a busy day.
Also used one leaving Malvern at some temp lights - was a passenger with Aerotaff driving my car for a try out. umbrella

Blimey, is Latin grammar a requirement in your profession?

Anyway, this is not a phrase to be used in the mountains of Provence. You are liable to be savaged by irate shepherds.

Possibly more chance of success in the Wanted section..

I know, but as we were discussing tonneaux here, and for some extraordinary reason there seem to be owners who do not use theirs, it seemed like a good opportunity.
