Does anyone have any experience of a car with the speed 6 engine.
I'd like some info on reliability and performance if anyone has any first hand.

Depends if it's been rebuilt - the original ones have chocolate like finger followers.
Performance - a proper race engine - probably unlike most things you can commonly get your hands on.
T350, Tuscan, Tamora?
Personally I have a bit of a soft spot for the T350C but with a rebuilt enlarged engine that's available.

Good powerful engine, but as said earlier cam issues and head issues. I have been told that even after rebuild can be troublesome. I lived next door to chap,with Cerbera when I had Griffth 4l and in same village as Steve Heath, he has masses of TVR knowledge, has written books on them. If you pm me I can send his email, even if he does not know he will know someone.

Not a good idea to get involved in a speed six in my view , far too many have blown up for various reasons mainly poor quality parts , ok there are rebuilds out there but who wants a dodgy engine that's been re built ? All the parts are Tvr so they will be expensive as well. Reading the Tvr sprint mag there are many sad expensive stories about this engine.
