Definitely not. Just had a box of parts arrive including some nice looking webers shouldn't be long before it's up and running.

It was just a long shot - be good to see your Z when you have her fettled.

Mike , seac's are a bit of a one off even in the Tvr world which is quite small and specialised as you know . I was very lucky to buy her before lots of other folks in the queue and when I sold her 5 years later after quite a few modifications to power and suspension there where ridiculus numbers of people lining up to buy the blue monster - will put a pic on here if that's allowed ! Not an easy car to drive but the best cars aren't ( F40 comes to mind as a pig of a drive but we all want one ! ).Is buying a plus 4 a sign of ageing ?

Emphatically yes !!! camera camera

There's quite a few of us on here who own or have owned Blackpool plastic who would love to see it. I'm sure the rest of them would too.

As to the +4, maybe yo should just look at it as maturing (like a fine wine wine)

Ok , there she is , very photogenic , totally mad design , very stiff chassis after some fettling , loud obviously , not a car to idle about in , just overtake everything in sight and hear that sound - the wife did't like it much not surprisingly - a bloke's car , not for marital bliss ! So bought a z4mc to replace it which is fast but normal , sold the 7 and bought a duratec Mog which is being more fettled !
(R400 cams race valve springs , already has Tb's and uprated suspension , free flow manifold just fitted , what next ? )

"Is buying a plus 4 a sign of ageing?"

More a sign of common sense I would have thought Max!

A mate wanted me to jump out of a plane with him at Sunderland air field befor Nissan was built . Said I would need a doctors note to proove I was of sound mind and body ( not a hope in Hell ) . I hate flying told him no bloody way . He jumped and the wind got hold and dragged him along the runway on landing he was lucky a huge wire fence was along the side to stop you going onto the A19 he was thrown against that. Only did it once crazy3.

Come to think of it I live on the coast and there used to be a lad in who had one of these wing things with a motor on the back . You sort of sit in a cloth bit and are open 100s of feet up . He asked me if I wanted to go up with him he had more chance of walking on water .
