Flat battery...forgot to put the charger on over the holidays.
Can't push the car to jump start it from one of the others as it needs power to move the Transmission out of Park.
Local garage has a large battery they lend out.
Tried it.
They did the same. 10v won't start a Mog....!!
So they have theirs on charge..! Only happens in those new fangled ones!  Took mine for a 30 mins spin today - wonderful...if not a little warm. That said the air scoop and air dam kept the needle spot on the middle of "N"..

Should have, but waiting for a phone call to collect  At least I checked the Mog over for Sunday, inflated the tyres (and those on the Panda). Morgan's battery is back on charge after the tyre session...

Yes glorious day here in Essex, 30 mile there and back to Chelmsford to meet up with my sister to handover a trophy I won last year at the Clay club as I can't make the AGM. Got lots of admiring glances and comments. Never thought I would wear that 30 year old flying jacket again, but it's just the job hood down screens off

A very pleasant tour round the locality through South Nottinghamshire, South Derbyshire, via Scotland (Farm), Calke Abbey and home across the tip of North West Leicestershire. A beautiful day.

popped over to a pub on the east side of Reading for lunch. mostly M4 though, but the Morgan was delighted to be out in the fresh air. Just like a young puppy (the car that is)

With the little optimate charger I got enough power into the battery to activate the "computer" stuff so could get it into neutral.
Pushed it out next to the Merc and jump started it easily. A big advantage of the Plus 8 is the battery is under the bonnet!!
So I managed to get out and enjoy an hour in the setting sun: back now feeling really chuffed!

Nice run out today over Dartmoor via Buckfastleigh and Holne to Princetown and return for a pit stop in Totnes at the tea shop, handsome  Swindon (equidistant) for a family day tomorrow rain forecast so everything will be running cool (+soggy) at least.
