I went through Bath and down to the A303 yesterday, I have to agree the roads in Bath and around are in a dreadful state.

If so Stranocum in Northern Ireland Ireland where they filmed Game of thrones. The one on the waterfront with the village in the background... Just looked a pleasant scene

We drove the Plus4 north from Slaidburn "The Skaithe" through the forrest of Bowland heading eventually for Windermere. Halfway over the top on the sigletrack road we pulled over to allow a landrover type vehicle to pass. The lady leaned out of the drivers window and told us the ice they had just passed over had scraped the underside of their car. I thought discretion was the better part of valour and did the maths. They had a ground clearance of around 300mm, we had 100mm. We did a quick uturn and headed for the B6478 and the A65. What a whimp. Top down of course though. I'll do it properly later in the year.

Well worth the horrible drive through the m1 contraflow to Allon Whites excellent breakie meet and talk , great to mix with Mog owners and Lotus owners. One chap from cranmog had a four seater Mog in black with black smoked windows all round and it was a v8 , evil looking beast !!

I and MrsW managed a 40 mile round trip this morning in Mr Bumble. Cold and dry, very enjoyable.

100 miles on Saturday roof down all the way,Sunday will be spent wash the salt off.

Belongs to a chap from cranmog , didn't get his name but he knows John v6 and I'm sure John will fill in the details about his car which looked straight out of Batman !
