Looks good Neil, the Stags Inn that looks vaguely familiar? Near Petworth... one of those 'undiscovered' proper pubs with no children and no music. Perfect!

Quite right...5000 miles on my 4/4...sidescreens put away and having tonneau cover made..leather sheepskin aviator hat + waterproof thermal suit...who needs a roof ? !!! You could paint yourself blue too then nobody would notice how cold you are Seriously; what is it about people that live in one of the wettest countries in the world (on average London has rain on 226 days a year) that makes them feel life has to be a constant denial of that fact?

The fact that any particular day has rain is absolutely no reason not to drive around with the hood down, though, so your statistic is meaningless. Yesterday in Gloucestershire we had rain. It rained from about 6 to around 8 ish, then the sun came out and it was a glorious day. Statistically it would count as rain, but it was a cracking day for driving the Morgan. Shame I was kept busy with the veg garden and servicing the tractor. As for a bit of cold, that's easily sorted by wearing a sheepskin flying jacket and a wool cap, often usefully paired with sunglasses if the weather is bright.

Driving without side-screens adds to the enjoyment; perhaps it is the frustrated biker in me...
They are in their cover and safely locked away in the rack on the back.
The car looks better without them, too.

Should have been out in mine yesterday, but early weather decided the 90 needed exercise. Will be out in mine shortly, heading to the MTWC Opening Run near Blenheim... Sidescreens will still be in their '98 Times wrapper in the sidescreen bag, hood on the parcel shelf. I just don't like driving with sidescreens on - has to be pretty heavy rain driven sideways by wind for them to be fitted!

The car looks better without them, too. With that I agree 100%. Trouble is that finds it a bit too breezy and is not so keen, and that strange to say, is after years of enjoying motorbikes.
