I replaced turn signal flasher and two bulbs.
the Front Left turn signal bulb and rear right turn signal bulb keep blowing out.

I am getting current to the sockets and the grounds are good.

The problem may be that I am using two different bulbs on the circuits. I could not read the correct bulb size in the existing lights as they were worn.

Would it make a difference if the bulbs were different? What is the correct number? The bulb has a single contact point on bottom. Thanks

Normally single contact level pin bulbs (as compared to offset pins with dual filament bulbs) are normally 382.

Any thoughts on why bulbs blowing out in different circuits?

Normally poor quality bulbs, even bad contacts don't normally cause the problem, if you think about it that's what the flasher unit is doing...open, closed, open, closed.

Having different resistances normally just affects the flash rate, higher resistance faster flash and all that. I would buy a new set of bulbs from the same source just in case? To be honest I am clutching at straws for a reason why they are blowing though? All part of the joys of car electrics I am afraid ;-).
