Thursday night special at the Farmers Arms near Parbold

For the first time I actually passed Croston village's other Morgan owner Vince out in one of his Mogs tonight - a dark green 4/4 4 seater 2002 that used to be owned by Andy at Lifes

Fabulously warm weather in the North West today

Happy days !

No fish on the menu Stewart?

Fabulous 86 mile drive tonight to The Wharf Tavern at Goldstone near Market Drayton for a classic car evening organised in the fields by the pub by the local Triumph TR Register. Beautiful evening with about 200+ cars from a 1928 Alvis to several Ferraris & everything in between. About 10 Morgans there but for me the star of the show was a beautiful silver Mercedes 190SL convertible. It had. Been a barn find in Crewe and the lady who owned it said her husband discovered it & overall four year period he restored it from a wreck. Unfortunately, during this period he got cancer but was determined to finish it. Although it wasn't completely finished he did get to drive it on the road 9 days before he passed away.

I will try to get some pictures up over the next couple of days. A brilliant evening.

Euro......it's a BMW R1200RS.

Congrats Jays, great news that you're back in the saddle drive Enjoy...

Man, you could have gathered enough road kill to keep you both in pigeon pie for months!

How was the bike and how did your leg feel when riding again?

Great bike Jays, enjoy it. wine

I still miss biking, but don't miss the pain in shoulder and neck that followed even a short ride.

My Morgan is out of service with a broken pollen filter.
Williams say that it will take a couple of weeks to fix.
So it is tin top driving for a while.

I've ridden upright GS's for the past decade or more, apart from the odd Bonneville etc so my muscles are tuned to the relaxed riding position. After yesterday's ride I realise that I'm going to have to retrain my muscles! It'll take a few rides but at least it's not wrist breaking like my old Thruxton with clip ons!
