I've only just spotted this thread.
I am also 11 years older than my other half. We met when she was 19 and I was 30 and we married two years later. We now have three children and celebrated our 25th anniversary last September.
I never think about the age difference, we both feel the same age which is what matters. When people ask how we met I say we were childhood sweethearts (her childhood if not mine!)

Recently I have become reacquainted with this lovely and she is considerably younger than me - were I on the market I would make it a permanent arrangement in a heartbeat... When I married I meant till death us do part though. Yes I am acquainted with people that can perform that task for very little money also but I'm not tempted.
