I'll have to do something like this on the drivers side. I might leave the pax side as its too much fun to watch my wife getting an intermittent soaking
I had an outing on Sunday with some English friends who live in Provence and have a variety of weird vehicles. The NG TF (MGB-based) failed to make the rendezvous due to an electrical problem. The XJS had to be abandoned at the roadside with brake failure. The MGC’s clutch was evidently on the way out. The driver of the 2013 Morgan 3 Wheeler was worried about bevel box whine and various other things. I followed the amusing ersatz Bugatti Type 35 (also MGB-based) for a while and it was making horrible grinding noises in the corners from the back axle.
Yup Drove it today, as it was tipping down I thought it a great way to clean it with soft water instead of the usual Hard stuff I have coming out of my tap.
Not ba drop intruded through the afternoon and evenings rain while parked at work.
Only difficulty - I had forgotten how to get in at first as I had put the roof up, must do something about the squeaks above my noggin with the roof up!
Quite a bit of fog on the way home tonight!
