Is the organ pedal mod' worthwhile? does it enable you to heal and toe? I was thinking of "nailing" something to the existing throttle operator in order to connect with the heal when required. Has anybody tried a DIY option? A nice elegant solution would be a good addition.
I fitted one about five years ago, a simple job. I don't use it for heal and toeing but it is much more comfortable than the "roller", especially on long drives as it allows you to move the pressure point on your foot around.
Some like them, others not. On one trip to Scotland with a small group, an hour was spent removing one from a +8 one morning. Car had been fitted with one from new, but the owner could not get on with it, though I don't think he realised it was the pedal causing his problem. He was much happier driving afterwards. Best to try a car with one fitted if you can...

Removed mine also, i don't have particularly large feet but kept catching the brake pedal. I then refitted the roller to the outer (right hand) side and that made a great difference. As Graham says, Organ pedal not for everybody. Fitting a slim foot rest above the clutch pedal is also worthwhile, saves your foot from hovering on long trips.
P4SS had a roller and it hurt my foot when I had soft shoes on so fitted an organ pedal and found it much better, I will fit one to the ARP4 when it ever comes. It also stopped the throttle bounce on rough roads at low speed. My wife has very small feet and couldn't reach the roller so couldn't drive it mmmm forgot about that so may be will put up with the roller.
I couldn't get used to the organ pedal, and had Techniques replace it with one of their fabricated "conventional" pedals, which does away with the roller. Heeling and toeing is now easy!
