My version is just about ¼" wide, does not get in the way of my size 9s.
made from Ally sheet and covered in vinyl. You mary need several goes to get it in the right comfortable position to suit your ankle. Its really just a 'ledge' to rest the side of your shoe on. Works a treat for me...

There certainly 2 different clutch and brake pedals there , but I think the throttle assembly is the same as it has ever been unless I am very much mistaken.

I hadn't seen the earlier thread on this but I did find and use the (above) template to fabricate a modified version for the Aero8.

It is a little narrower as there is even less space for it to fit but it is enough to provide a comfortable rest on longer journies. As with others,made from some spare alloy sheet with a plastic/chrome 'U' trim along the edges to prevent it cutting the leather.I left mine polished as the (magnolia) leather picks up marks very easily.

A left foot rest is not possible with a left hand drive car but I read somewhere that the return spring on the clutch pedal is intentionally strong so that you can rest your foot on the clutch pedal. That is what I do.

I'm glad someone tracked down the template and photos of the footrest in my 4/4....saved me the job! I keep meaning to do the same for my Roadster....at the moment I rely on a strong clutch pedal return spring.

The 3.7 Roadsters use a different throttle pedal assembly to the other cars by the way.

If you are temped to fit an organ pedal to a roller throttle pedal, do check to see if your roller is metal or nylon. The latter can bind in the slot at the rear of the organ pedal and you end up with a stuck throttle....like I did. Luckily in neutral in the garage! I sold the pedal only to be told that there are two different types.

I've just realised I've never even looked at the pedals on my Plus 4 so haven't a clue what's there (except there must be a brake and clutch pedals and some sort of accelerator). I have noticed through feel that some or all seem to hinge the 'other way'. What's really interesting for me though is that when I test drove a plus 4 (and fell in love) one thing that bothered me was that I couldn't seem to rest my clutch foot anywhere which got a bit tiring. My left knee also rested quite heavily against the gear leaver when in 5th. That car was a Duratec but in my GDi, I seem to have more room and can rest my clutch foot on the floor and my knee is nowhere near the gear lever. I can only conclude that either there has been a bit of realigning with the newer engine or I have experienced a mutational adaptation to fit the Morgan!

Being new to Morgans when I got my car last year I found the roller pedal was uncomfortable to use in terms of leg positions; I talked to my dealer (RTCC) Richard who suggested the organ pedal, which I got them to do. They also re-trimmed the floor mat round the new pedal fitting making a neat job of the whole thing. I don't heel & toe but I do find it easier to use & much more comfortable.

I am curious how much the organ pedal does shorten the available legroom.
On longer tours I appreciate the different options of foot-placement with the roller pedal, allowing fully stretched knees in my car.

I have had both. Currently an organ pedal.
I can still slide my size 11 feet between the pedals
