The Lyme Bay MSCC Centre and Centre Secretary cordially invite all MOG owners to join us at this event.
The third Sunday in June the 19th is the longest day minus one, Midsummer’s Day when we have planned to hold our Mid-Summer Picnic at Hive Beach in Dorset when all clubs are welcome and invited to join FossilMog for the day from mid morning onwards. It’s free and there is no need to book - just turn up with your Morgan for a very enjoyable relaxing day at the beach with a like minded bunch and not forgetting to bring along your favourite picnic. There is a good Café often very busy but worth the wait. Come on your own or with a group of friends or family you will be made very welcome. Last year we had around seventy Morgans of all ages, types, sizes, and colours meeting up for what has become a very sociable annual get together by the sea. There is a very good chance you will see someone on the day that you already know or have briefly met before at some other place in the past. FossilMoggers are looking forward to seeing you, and this year we will be awarding a variety of prizes eg. the oldest and newest Morgan, the furthest travelled on the day, the peoples choice of the ‘best in show’. The location is a great one and we doubt there is a better one anywhere else for such an occasion. What better reason do you need for a run out in the car.
A short drive along the coast road provides some stunning views over Chesil Beach as well as the surrounding rolling Dorset countryside Come along to Hive Beach and see for yourself and prove us wrong. Hive Beach venue is run and managed by the National Trust whose site rangers usually waive car parking charges to non NT members letting us all park up in a grassed area off Beach Road DT6 4RF below Crinkley Hill aka Crinkley Bottom Hope to see you there.
If you want any further information please PM me and I can give you Graham Keen's details(Centre Secretary).
