Finally got some time to take mine for an MOT this morning after languishing in the garage for the last few months due to lack of time and too much work. Particularly after the nonsense e f the last few days the 25 mile round trip was like a prisoner being released from a 20 year stretch and given his first pint of beer. Apparently.

Just completed a 700km round trip for the day to bury my dads brother and test drive a very quick 4.6l +8. Took it for a small test drive but brakes were almost non existent, scary.
Drove through some great Morgan country, very windy roads with hardly any traffic. Why is it that every left hander that is on the crest of a hill, has a vehicle coming the other way, you don't meet them on long sweeping right handers, no just on the bad corners.
Had to have the top on for some of the way as it got a little wet.

Great day, very tired now. The car can wait to be cleaned on the weekend.

Hope the first part of the day was OK Graeme.

Sounds like the second half was brighter. There are great roads down there.

....the brakes can always be fixed smile

Having a great ten days touring Brittany at the moment. 1000 miles on the clock after only four days and enough sunshine to have the roof down every day. The car is proving to be a head-turner as we pass through the villages etc.

I know it's in another forum, but the plastic catch on the offside easy-up mechanism has sheared off. Can't think that's it's a critical piece, but it's annoying after only 2600 miles since buying the car from new....

Home - Williams - Home
112 miles

NICE!! cloud9

Collected modified good tidy and tonneau, adapted to fit round the roll bar. Good Job Williams... thumbs

Also drive the Aero 8 S5: 30 odd miles on a mix of A and B roads.

But that is another story. quiet

Out with the local hospice patients again round the lanes of Worcestershire, and a tour round the Malvern Hills.
Amazing how some of them can even get into the car...
Interestingly (for me, as a beginner) is that you can dodge a reasonably heavy shower, so long as you stay above 30mph.
It's even dryer at 40mph.
I didn't expect that! gloomy smile

Just arrived at Mantova. Watching football this evening on a big public square close to our hotel. Unfortunately. I forgot against which team we have to play...Yesterday we walked on the "floating piers" on Iseo lake.
