I've owned my 2014 M3W for nearly 2 years and although I don't drive it much, I find that 10 minutes in the 3 wheeler is enough to make me forget any stresses of the day. Nothing compares to the fun of driving the M3W and everyone who sees it has a great time too. I can't count the number of people who have stopped to take a picture in front of it or waved or smiled or given the thumbs up. There's truly nothing like it and I would buy another one without hesitation.

Thanks chaps for the information you've provided. There are a couple of things I have taken from what you have all posted:
It's not a perfect car... never meant to be was it!
It's probably going to cost me a few quid over the years... most worth while interest do!
You are passionate about your M3W's... that means a lot!

My 2012 gives me the sort of love hate relationship normally confined to an ex.

This M3W has had just about everything possible happen, modified or replaced and is now like triggers old broom with 5 new heads and four new handles. I reconsider moving on at every juncture with her but stick with her - why? It's the love side of the relationship shining through.

8000 miles and she's now a 2012/14/16 car 🤔😉

One day I will own one, and I will forgive it for everything it does wrong - because it does so much so very right.

My view exactly.

The chassis plate must be genuine 2012?

Mine is still for sale, cheaper than a new one, still new and undrilled in the box! I ordered the factory large screen, so now I don't need it.
You could have it in a couple days. Contact me if you want it, anybody. I will return it if nobody needs one.

Have you made the best choice Draggin? The Morgan screen is not as wide as the Fairbourne one, so has less protection from the airflow for your outer hand on the steering wheel. Your hand will be in the wind and get cold with the Morgan screen. Cosmetically they are very similar, the Morgan one has a better center support bracket maybe but also has black shaded surrounds on the edges for some reason. Having seen both, I prefer the Fairbourne screen but the choice is up to you.

Having NOT seen both, maybe I should keep the Fairburn screen, just in case? I can always sell the one I like less. Too late to change my spec at this point....
Thank you, Planenut for the insight!!

I like the factory's two smaller windshield as it looks more racy plus it kicks the wind over my head while driving so I can wear a baseball cap or even a fedora.

the large windshield would be better in a rainy climate and better for a ladies hair!
