I am lucky to live in this beautiful area of Austria and yes we have a lot of nice restaurants and "Buschenschank's". One very nice restaurant is across the border in Slovenia - Gostilna Pec next to River Drau.
Gerhard: is the restaurant located half way from Maribor to Ruse? I think I know the place for many years but never remembered the name of the restaurant. Some years ago I had a business cooperation in Ruse and we always had lunch or dinner there. Not a spectacular place but excellent food and a nice terrasse.

Salisbury to Mullion today.Roof down all the way. One heavy shower on A30. We saw two Morgans. A black 4 Seater with red trim on the A 303. Don't think he saw us. Also a cyclist waved like mad off a bridge on the 303 so may have been an owner. Then we passed an older red Morgan between Helston and Mullion after spending an age behind a combine at 20 mph.
Reception here is the usual rubbish. None in the bedroom and no mobile signal.......... Ps - just over 1000 miles now.

Worthing to Gloucestershire for me, via the south downs (Midhurst/Petersfield) rather than the south coast A27/M27 route, which is a bit pants traffic-wise. Plenty of classics out and about, but no other Morgans were spotted.
I did see a red Aero AJ02 MOG coming into Stroud last Friday morning, but apart from that it's ages since I've seen another Morgan out in the wild.

Yes! G and I had one of our best ever weekends staying at the Sattlerhof. We did a long walk along the ridges and every row of grape vines had a wonderful rose bush in bloom at the end of it. My record on organising romantic weekends is littered with comic disasters but with little effort this turned into something memorable. Very pleased you found it.
Popped over to Chesire_David for a bit of tinkering (thanks again, David) and a brew or two. Two couples walking back to the pub where they were staying after having being to the Superbikes at Oulton Park came up the dive for oohs and ahhs at my Mog. One lady was so excited I employed the Babe Magnet skills learnt from Wirewheel's jaunt to Caramulo and invited her to sit in it whilst her husband took her photos sitting in it. These cars bring such joy to people, not just us owners. The other day I drove through Tarporley and had to wait for some traffic to come through and there was a young mum with a toddler who can have been no more than 2 or 3. Of his own accord he waved so enthusiastically at me and I waved back. He wasn't taught to do that he just did it. I will miss this car so much.
