Went for a birthday drive to verdies in Mumbles for an Italian icecream and coffee. Perfect winters day, clear BLUE sky, hood down, great feeling. Hope this weather stays till Xmas...Fat chance.

Drove the C180k up to Redditch to collect a couple of MGB head restraints. Much of the journey in rain of varying quantities. Sun came out for a short bit of the run home... Nearly stopped for an ice cream at a farm shop on the way back, but the wind was bitterly cold, coffee would have made more sense...
Just need to recover them, in either grey or black... smile

Today I drove both the 4/4 and the M3W for some 50 miles each.
The 4/4 was driven to the service station to collect the small one after the annual service routine. Now the red one stays at the dealer's garage until they get the annual service completed.
No hurry as the weather forecast is ice and ☔️
Today: some sunshine but frost last night. At low temperatures both engines are running even better than at nice summer sunshine. Must get some winter tyres...

You need Vinylkote. idea
http://www.kolorbond.co.uk/vinylkote-paint-leather-vinyl

In my concours days with the Rover V8 - the factory oil filler cap was grey but only orange ones were available by the late eighties.
So I re-coloured the new oil cap using Vinylcote. Even in this hostile environment it never budged. And nobody ever detected that it had been orange.

Or this..........

Nice run back in the rain with roof up from Perranwell in Cornwall today the autumnal colours were truly spectacular and treated to a couple of full rainbows.

They had an ARP4 in Red being serviced very nice but I don't like the front lights and I didn't think the exhaust was loud. I am use to Librands dual system on the V8 mind you.

One very nice Red MG Midget seen and waved to.

Drove my Plus 4 GDi back from its first annual service which included the factory upgrade to the engine management system. Wow! The car feels so much looser and lively. Great drive home in the dark with the top down (of course!). Can't wait until the next drive.
