What is that whistling I get when driving, and no, it's not the passenger!
It's coming from somewhere around the windscreen I think, and starts around 30mph. It's quite tuneful occasionally, but I wish I could at least turn it on and off.
What the hell is it?

Oddly enough, I think it may be headlamp bezels.
I've heard somewhere in the dim & distant past that getting your bezel gaps filled stops whistling.
By bezel, I mean the chrome ring that sits outside the headlights...just in case my England isn't working today...

Could be bezels. Also, check the seal below the windscreen, even the tiniest gap can cause the whistle syndrome

There is a clear gap on mine - and I whistle too!
I think DaveW recommended neoprene - no seriously!!
Am going to give it a go!

If you can live with the shame of being seen without bezels, whip em off and try it first, I did the same with mine and a bit of Daves neoprene sorted it out.
When I removed them there was already a bit behind them so I think it's a very common issue.

Thank you all for your vital and timely information. Unfortunately I am without for a few days while the front suspension is upgraded. I will investigate promptly after a shakedown to test out the new configuration (AVOs, steering bearings, springs and brake reaction stays). I promise to do it Dave...and begin a long-awaited life of meaning with neoprene.

Aaaah, now I'd heard 42 was actually wrong. So, it's neoprene then?
