Can someone post the bearing specifications and/or replacement model numbers to help others order replacement in advance of a failure? If we need them at some point, would be a easier to grab the replacements from your personal parts shelf than start the hunt for a proper replacement.

Sounds like you caught it just in time and hopefully it'll be a quick fix.

Shamelessly copied from previous posts:

The bearing sizes are 52mm OD, 25mm ID and 15mm width and have rubber seals on both sides. Have a look on: http://www.bearing-king.co.uk/ . They have information on sizes and specifications. Something like SKF 6205-2RSH or 7205 if you want go for a higher specification (and cost). The ones on my car just had "made in china" stamped into the housing, so I don't think they are anything special. Raphy (Atlante83) has some more part numbers and information for replacing these bearings I think. You will need a C3 ID clearance so the axle can be removed without a press.

The best are: FAG 7205-B-2RS-TVP (available from Bearing King in the UK)
