One tank was found to be leaking before I paid the final balance on my 2013 MTW. This was replaced quickly with one off the production line.... apparently.

The two tanks are held up by two steel shelves that are the most rearward components of the frame. Then the tanks are strapped in tight using what appears to be nylon belts. Everything else back there is an ash frame holding an aluminum skin which flexes something wicked.
So, technically, there is no rear steel chassis. The steel stops at the roll bars.
Getting rear ended is not advised...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Oh, I forgot: the rear bearings were shot, as well, and have been replaced.
I have had quite a lot of stuff break or wear out in just 14000 km. What's up with Morgan's quality control, one might wonder? Is it like with NASA, everything comes from the lowest bidder?
Lucky it is so much fun to drive... (Well it would be if I had it).
M3W, now!!!
