Hi Dave, Call in to Stanley Perthshire on your way North .
You can sign my copy of your book ,and in return I will feed and water you. We might just take you have up on that Jimmy! The route North will be via Perth up to Aboyne for the first stopover. I'll PM you nearer the time.

I'm right behind you. My notice of retirement goes in on Monday 30 April, then 3 months "notice" so my last day will be Tuesday 31 July. I started work on 1 September 1974, so 43 years and 10 months. Total unemployed time: 6 months between jobs. Employers: 7. Time to do exactly what I'm told to do by  ....  Peter , well done , rolling pins are not all they seem ! Dave , you've done your bit , get stuck into those things you always wanted to do but didn't have the time to do or money , enjoy !

Good luck, Dave. They say there's a book in everyone, so you've done that. Enjoy your time, I'm sure you will find lots of places where Neoprene will fit.
I am semi-retired, so I enjoy the best of both worlds, I can thoroughly recommend it.

Congratulations Dave. You have a good sense for timing. Enjoy all the things you can do now and in first place the anticipation of the grandchild, for whom you and Mrs.W. then also have a lot of wonderful time.
