We've had the roof on twice, once going into Girona where there was a thunderstorm of biblical proportions and today coming into Nantes when it rained heavily. It's OK when you're moving but I don't really want to get the inside of the car (and me!) soaked in town.
We book one night ahead at any one time. That way if we don't like somewhere we can move on and if we do we can stay another night. Similarly I'll book the ferry/tunnel out but not book the return crossing until I know where we're going to be.
The car's been fine.

Yesterday Stotfold (Techniques) to South Kensington after collecting the car from its service. Very happy with lots of issues sorted. Today will be Gatwick to collect a mate, Dover to catch a ferry and Amiens for the night. Back in Vienna Thursday evening. Still wearing the Vinmog placard as this is the return from LMC and the trip's not over til it's over.
PS tmg513 great journey you're on and thanks for the tips.

Beautiful late afternoon 30 mile round trip down the lanes no cars just a few pretty ladies exercising their nags.

I had to go to Great Yarmouth today for a trustee meeting. If you can’t drive your Morgan on a day like today - when can you drive it?
292 miles round trip and a brilliant day out. Great drive and the meeting was very productive too.
Saw a Bond Bug and a Triumph Dolomite (not together) on my way home.

Saw a Bond Bug and a Triumph Dolomite (not together) on my way home. Like this one? Not quite. The one I saw was being driven by someone a lot less good looking - but that was the only difference
