Alas mine is under the dash and my back couldn't take the strain. John, you need the secret 'mirror image' version

Nice job !!!..why can't the Factory do this ? They do on the Roadster at least, but as Jon mentioned they flipped the body and engine fuse box listings. Picture is correct though. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/J5AJf0R.jpg) Nice job BTW Jon.

To be fair to MMC the outside of the lid is labelled, but the 'engine' and 'body' have been flipped and the black text is tiny on a silver background making it difficult to read - so I thought a little improvement was possible, as you know fuses have a habit of letting go in bad weather or in the dark Chances are that if they are flipped that whoever prepared the diagram was taking it from the circuit diagram which probably views the fuse block from the back for the purpose of making the connections. Yes it’s the same on mine and that’s exactly the conclusion I came to Still rather baffling though Fortunately I’m left handed so can ‘mirror think’ quite well

Just come across this thread after i had trouble with my No1 fuse as noted in my post last week....30A fuse...it melted its plastic body ....did not blow but left me stranded at the lights!. At the time i had everything on, blower, headlights, heated screen and of of course fuel pump and engine ancilliaries. Fortunatly the hazards of course still worked, it was a dark night and raining, i wasnt far from home so i slotted a new fuse in, left the unnesesary loads off and ran for home. Clearly the circuit is overloaded, i did not have an ammeter to read a high enough current but i am confident there is a design issue here. I have installed a couple of Maxi fuse carriers adjacent to the poor quality badly designed standard fusebox and wiring arrangement. I installed a 40A maxi fuse to carry this load and all seems to be fine. Having installed 2 maxi carriers i have a spare available "for future use". It was a "drop the dash job" and i had to cut a nice square hole to mount the Maxi fuse carriers, re-sealing around the hole with black silicon as per Morgan standard, they slot together to make as many ways as you require, so why install one when you can install 2😅 Everything seems to be functioning fine but i will get the circuit current checked, the 40A fuse is now not increasing in temperature so hopefully all is ok. My components of choice are all MTA, including fuses, they do seem to be "industry accepted gold standard". They seem to be the only company that provides fuse charecteristics and graphs (inspite of being Italian) oops sorry Gambalunga😅 I am now pondering a changeout of the 8-way box for an MTA product as the Morgan (or MES) standard bit of kit is some non named piece of equipment. It is worth noting that the cooling fan fuse is a 40A and that these 8-way boxes are rated at 30A per way, although i wouldn't like to see them pushing near rated current thro' each way which wouldn't be possible anyway so diversity factor must have been applied during design. The Maxi fuse ratings start at 20A as a matter of interest. Just as an aside the 20-way mini fuse carrier under the dash looks like an MTA product so i think I'll give it the benefit of doubt since it hasn't let me down to date. Incidentally, its not the first time fuse No1 let me down, it expired once on a long run in Italy, ambient temp was high but the circuit was not fully loaded, only fuel pump and engine ancilliaries. I think this recent experience was the first time in 6 years of ownership I've been out with all consumers switched on!
