I could be tempted... Mercedes also did the same car in Yellow, as per the calipers. Yellow and Black are a combination made in nature... !!

I like grey cars - my last 9 have all been grey, and I still own 4 grey ones (all with black/dark painted wheels). Why?? Simple - I have too much to do to waste time washing them. And grey cars never look dirty.
Mind you, this can't be said about the current fashion for 'barely grey' off-white colours such as Suzuka Grey (Audi) Crayon or Heron Grey (Porsche) or Campovolo (Abarth). They do look nice if a little too high maintenance for me. My son & I joke that these colours (sic) should be called "Izit Grey" My car is Sport Grey which I love as its an unusual shade with a green tinge that changes colour in different lights. There's a bit more to colour than just external paintwork though. To me Its the contrast between the paintwork and interior and also wheels and accessories. In addition some colours suit the Morgan and some don't and then there's probably the most important factor of personal taste. Personally I don't like Morgans in bright metallic colours with stainless wheels but others will think the opposite and who am I to tell them otherwise. On 'modern' cars Ive had 2 yellow Minis and an Orange Mini and wouldn't say no to a bright green Lamborghini.

My Mog is red. Same as the previous one. The cars just happened to be red and no real influence as that was what was on offer and fitted the bill. Ordering new? Would I want to fork out silly money for different colour paint? No REAL major difference in cost other than basic paint cost and possibly primer variation and number of coats. Silly manufacturer/dealer profit, even after the big factory has to change colour ( most have automated paint systems these days so only a minor effect. The DVLA lists colours in a very limited range. Our Kia is graphite, nearly black. It is listed as grey.

A visit to Ferreri a couple of years back surprised me.
Three colours were done in the factory and all the rest were shipped out to a local external company to be done! Red, White and Yellow I think were the in house.
So the extra cost did have some justification for them.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

A nice bold colour from Mercedes for a lovely bold car, taken at the DTM meeting at Brands Hatch 2018 the last year of the V8's racing ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2020/01/18/dtm.png) That is really awful, try selling that, in a few years compared to a silver version, it will be worth £'s less. I cannot see the footballer/Katie Price owner in the shot, BTW!!
Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

Having just seen Hammonds PlusSix it confirms my opinion that black is the only colour for a car.

It was the Mercedes demonstrator and I don't think they will be too bothered either way Lovely to see them breaking away from that boring silver grey option at last. Cars are about driving passion not resale values

I find it a boring combination, now it would have been a stand out if it had the same scheme as your Aero it really would have been noticed, I worry about the visibility of this colour knowing what speeds he is likely to be travelling at we won't have time to avoid him
