Hopefully with fewer (!) brackets this time. Oh bother there I go again....
63 miles yesterday bringing Florence back from her first annual service. Bits n pieces done such as extended door mirrors, usual tightening of the rest but decided against remote greasing kit (Allon White really do a fantastic job and defo care about the consumer even recommending against spending money when they don’t believe it’s worth it-top notch and can’t recommend them highly enough). Was getting dark by the time I got back - right hand headlight seems point about 2 metres in front of me and the left lights up the road signs about 40 metres up in the sky. Made for an interesting trip! Will need to sort that out sometime. Unless it’s easy to resolve with a screwdriver at home?
Am so glad Florence is back home. Phew.
Now ready for spring/summer with a vengeance woop woop 🤣😝🕺🥰

160 mile trip to Thorne to visit narrowboat. 20 minute delay on A17 whilst fallen tree was disposed of otherwise easy trip. Very fresh with roof down but stayed generally dry, just a few drops to dodge.

A short trip to the local shop today. Normally 5 miles, but the roads were dry enough, so I did 15 miles instead.

With the sun shining I decided on a short run out to the see the sea. A great grin is now stuck on my face.
Tomorrow I am off to Krazy Horse for new carpets and the leather repair after the fire last year.

Just driven up the M5 from Swansea in the tintop and I’m sure I saw Charles in his bright blue flat rad driving south around Cheltenham

To Krazy Horse at Bury to have the burns on the leather repaired ad the carpets replaced.
KH did a great job & I am very pleased with the result.

The drive up was bright & cold, but the return was in rain alas.

Very likely. Charles (Miscellany Ed.) was at the factory.

Went down to Beaulieu on Monday for the Motor Museum, then on to Poole. Spent a few days there and went to Corfe, Swanage, Weymouth and Dorchester. Car performed fautlessly as usual, but the weather was shocking for the vast majority of the trip.....
