Just wanted to share some information about another great product Emil @ MorganCustom had made

Kuryakyn Mach2 Air Filter is a pretty popular mod, however, the current Kuryakyn S&S adapter,  required to mount it, lacks any support and can cause an intake leak to develop over time.

Emil came up with two aluminum brackets which bolt on to the cylinder heads and to the air filter's backplate: the kit is very simple and nicely done, I highly recommend it!

So this is the list of parts you would need to mount the filter:

Kuryakyn Mach2 Filter:  * Chrome: Kuryakyn 9451  * Black: Kuryakyn 9550
Kuryakyn S&S Adapter: P/N 8525
Emil's Kit (you can contact him from MorganCustom.net)
Probably you would want to install a new gasket too:
S&S Air Cleaner Backplate Gasket - 106-2328 (or 106-1724)4)

Hope this helps.

Emil does good work.

Nice photos. Is the screen just cosmetic on the front?

Thanks for the pictures.

I hadn’t thought of doing it like that, looks good. This is how I did mine.

Need to get a badge for the filter as I bought it second hand and it come without one.

Hi Jasper, welcome to TM.

Custom Morgans website is here if you haven't already found it. https://www.morgancustom.net
If you were referring to mine yes they one offs knocked up in the shed. However you do it make sure to add support as the Kuryakyn is heavy and will cause leaking inlets manifolds without it.

I have had bad experiences dealing with overseas shipping with far more expensive items. USPS could not locate the $5k package but said they were looking for it. I finally received the item and the package was thoroughly soaked, like it had been sitting on a oading dock in the rain. Customs had apparently dismantled it to see what this coffee grinder was all about and put it back together poorly and left it out in the rain. It was all the Customs Services that got involved in Germany, USA and god knows where in between..

Anytime something leave the Country of origin you are opening yourself up to the vagaries of every overly officious wingnut in the system.

I used to do business selling custom made items in Europe and the England and Italy and finally gave up because of Customs hassle, and USPS. DHL was the most reliable but also the most expensive. I sent items to tourist locations for them to hand carry items back to Europe just because of USPS and their inefficient system.

I guess I am the opposite, for nearly 25 years I have been ordering parts and accessories for the Moggies from mostly the UK and never had an issue till just after lockdown, DHL managed to keep a $60 part in their warehouse in North Carolina for 4 months before delivering it due to "COVID". I agree that more items have gone missing or returned to sender here in the USA due to USPS actions.
