Only a supermarket shopping trip today but what a treat to be out in the heat and sunshine. Had to wear sunglasses just to look at the car

Tony & I sneaked in a 30 or so mile drive. A coffee in Wickham Market followed by a pint of a locally brewed beer at the Victoria in East Soham. Seriously warm & sunny with great twisty roads. Shame the rest of the GEG were busy or on holiday elsewhere but we took one for the team. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/06/09/20210609_121252.jpg)

No. Out early to cover Prescott Drivers' School (in Saab). Morgan disgraced itself yesterday by breaking down on the way home from the factory. Sorted for now, but I think I'll be replacing some Lucar connectors later this week.

Wet here today so got around to fitting the new O rings on the side lights and new blanking plugs for the headrests, they just seem to disappear and the O rings disintegrate and they look tatty, two minute jobs that neaten things up.
So roof up run in the light rain to test them out and fill up with fuel, one of the good things is that the roof changes the whole experience, we are lucky...
Dartmouth is rammed and the local campsite has expanded into it's third field, normally reserved for kids summer holiday time, so someone must be making a few bob right now.

Speaking of fuel noticed our local Tesco's has hit over £1.30/litre for unleaded yesterday

Mog spotted in Bolzano on Saturday... ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/06/06/B0E3F061-8149-4E22-A49B-3377F1FA34CD.jpg) Interesting grille extension, and I like it. Is it „of the shelf“ or something special made? Who knows more? Greets René

The grill extension used to be available on the options list when you purchased a new car.
Not sure if it is available from dealers as an aftermarket fitment.
Apart from the fact I think it suits the car the main reason I had it fitted was to protect the bottom of the radiator.

We had a few days in Kent last week, and stayed in Goudhurst. Like you we visited Scotney Castle, which we thought was delightful, and had a very enjoyable evening meal in the Peacock. A trip to Scotney Castle in Lamberhurst today followed by lunch at the Peacock Inn near Goudhurst. We've been to Scotney countless times and it's the first time we've caught the rhododendrons in flower - missed the orchids though. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/06/07/IMG_1437.jpg)

It's been a busy Morgan week so far. A couple of 50 mile round trips via Wallingford, Benson and Culham to test for lose of coolent, and a trip last night to Liss for a post lockdown curry with six of my old school mates. Great evening. Followed by a Grand drive home by starlight.
