Not this year Graham, rivers are all drying up, trees are stressed and losing their leaves already. Even the whin bushes are dying back due to lack of rain.
Unheard of in the West coast!!!

I don't think the driver , as you described him, was Brian....

Spot on Peter, one of our neighbours has a new partner and I lent him our Plus 8 to take her for a ride as he has driven it before. They went to Marlow and Henley, and then to the Royal Farm Shop to buy the meat!

Glad you liked the car Kevin, it was built with many bespoke items, including a lowered screen, lowered side screens and hood, etc, etc.

OK Mystery solved. The car did look stunning in the bright sunlight, very nicely appointed too.

Gorgeous colour

Volvo Pearlescent Aubergine! looks different depending on the light - sometimes dark blue, sometimes almost black, as well as the purple in the pic!
A couple of hours after the pic was taken, got pinged by the dreaded app!! Contact from Silverstone on Sunday so now have to self isolate for the next week or so! B....r!! Cars going under wraps for the duration!

Had a brief trip to Wexford to get dog food - sadly also tried the screenwash only to get a wet leg! looks like the quality of the tubing for the screenwash hasnt seen an upgrade over the rubbish fitted to the previous Trad cars -- an afternoon replacing the various tubes is now on the cards!!
Sad on such a lovely day

Awesome to hear on a what a Euro 120k car. I hope your fix works.
I went to Sutton Hoo & it took me 15 mins to leave as people were for some reason taking photos in droves & loving the car. Such is the joy of being a care taker for a Morgan. laugh2

A squirt up the road to Exeter for a lunch with an ex colleague and friend in the Blue Ball at Clyst, great company, great drive and a little cooler today down here.

That's another 4 gallons of super plus taken care of laugh2 I am totally addicted to that rumble, there I've admitted it now smile

A perfect way of celebrating the Anniversary of seven years of ownership smile

Measured my spare windscreen I had for my Sport up in the garage roof to check if it was suitable for a guy in Cyprus rebuilding an early car but it wasn't, this was via a request put out on an FB Morgan group I belong to.
What I did learn was that it is the same dimensions as my Plus 8 and the only difference being it is a 9 stud instead of my 10 stud screen, it would do at a push as I rarely put the roof up.

Before buying new tubing, I would have a look first; rather than bursting, most likely the pipes were not connected to start with! A bit like my heated screen when new...wires loosely pushed into bullet connectors which soon fell out.

Stunning car Brian with clever additions. I did wonder how long your good ladies hat would remain in place on a hill climb though innocent There again it does say closed wink
