Hello
Here's something I'm involved in, which you might enjoy;
The Distinguished Gentlemans Drive (DGD) is a charity event for dapper drivers in cool classics. It's a global event in aid of mens mental health charities. The chaps behind it also run the DGR, which is for vintage motorbikes, and have raised tens of millions for charities over the years. This year is the launch of the DGD (for cars, not bikes), with many different cities playing host. I'm hosting the Worcester event, at a venue you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to find. Thanks to MMC we will have up to 99 cars, photographers and fun on Sunday 26th September. It's an invitation only event. It's about looking good and having fun.
The rules state that only cars of pre-1980 vintage quality, but thanks to some discretion of the organiser (me) cars of a continuation style are permitted - so all Morgans are welcome!
It has only just gone live but I can see that we have a great mix of classic cars, driven by sartorially excellent types, signed up already. These include an AC Cobra, a Porsche 914, Minis, classic Land Rovers, classic Mercedes 190s and a brace of MGBs. The yellow Abarth 500 is mine. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and hope that the event might be of interest. Participants of the Albert Ball jolly will remember me and vouch for the fact that I am
sort-of organised and will ensure a fun day out for all.
For those who would rather drive elsewhere, or if Malvern is too far from home, take a look at the other cities hosting as there may be one nearer.
