I washed & waxed Belle then off for fuel. Given traffic lights on the high road and A14 a long diversion in the sun was needed.

200 miles today, down to Macon and back to buy some wine, got a bit wet but nothing serious.

The last beautiful day this week, late afternoon, thunderstorms are predicted. With only coffee; and breakfast in the picnic basket we left at sunrise. At least, that was the intention. Departure at 9am in not so brilliant weather was the compromise. After about an hour's drive we found this beautiful place for our breakfast. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/09/09/DSCI0477.md.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/09/09/DSCI0478.md.jpg) From then on, the weather got better and better. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/09/09/DSCI0479.md.jpg) Even so good (28°) that we were forced to make extra stops for a fresh pint and take off coats. Back home after 210 beautiful kilometers still no rain.
