I am always surprised with these replicas that they are able to legally use the Morgan logos as it has nothing to do with Morgan, surely this is misleading.

I am always surprised with these replicas that they are able to legally use the Morgan logos as it has nothing to do with Morgan, surely this is misleading. They are not: "Old" Morgan didn't seem to worry about IP protection, but "New" Morgan may not be so relaxed. As Peter (Lord of the Rings) said, why? The swing axle rear looks wrong, but it probably rides quite well. The answer, of course, is the price. A Morgan like 4/4 for £12,000. Someone will bite.

To be honest it looks a better car than a Morgan of that period.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

IIRC the owner of Mathewsons said he doesn't like Morgans, or the type of people who drive them

Yes I wonder why they went to all that trouble back then when a 4/4 could be had for not that much, still maybe it has been a work in progress over a long time-it is the best looking one that I have seen.

It does look like a very close copy. A couple of other interesting things if you slide through the catalogue. https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/produc...mented-photos-of-all-work-included-with/One for PeterJ - kermit green Alfasud in what looks to be great condition.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
