Funny I did the same thing. No problem at all. Shame they pulled the plug as the shocks are great on the Morgan. I though they were off the shelf shocks made for other motorcycles to begin with?

Two shocks in the one box and one each in the other two.

Ken, that's my understanding too - off the shelf from other bikes. I don't 'think' there's anything custom except the spacers, which is a non-issue.
Hopefully, there's a CocoMats' analogy here, in that they also prefer 'square pegs' and tire of dealing with non-precise/returned 3W fitments. But if you template yourself, no problem.

Shocks are revalved and springs are changed out for different spring rates is my understanding.

That may be why there was an extra set of black springs in the box which my guess is that was for the Harley sportster shocks. Anyway you slice it these are well worth the money in my book.

My recollection could be off, it's been a few years. Bottom line, ditto well worth the money. Ohlins and the Cocomats!

There are numbers on the springs and I suspect they correspond to spring rates.

I mad a bushing very similar to this one for the rear belt side.
