I have some of those magnifing glasses with the LEDs. Brilliant for close up work, but I have to take them off as soon as I've done as they make me feel sick if I look at anything far away.

What other tools do we enjoy using but hardly ever need? There is nothing quite as satisfying as having your own tools to hand when nothing else quite fits the bill. My collection of Morgan specific tools are very infrequently used, but nevertheless priceless when called upon. However, I’m under no illusion that one day the kids will sling this pile in the dustbin Grease injector for a super comfy squeak free ride ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/02/08/greaser3.jpeg) Kingpin bush puller ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/02/09/bush-puller.jpeg) ECU tool. For making spare Morgan ECU’s from old Mondeo ECU’s ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/02/08/tool3.jpeg) Trusty, lightweight traveling homebrew spinner spanner ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/02/08/travelspanner.jpeg) Cart spring persuader – This one was made in a hurry… Sorry ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/02/09/bodgeup2.jpeg) Anybody else produced any bespoke tooling for their Morgan?

Yes....a modified spanner to tighten one mounting bolt/nut on the 1993 4/4 Armstrong lever suspension unit. My normal spanners wouldn't fit. The spanner was obtained from the scrapyard at the steelworks I worked in. Rejects from a manufacturer, the ones I kept were good on one end but the other mis-formed. The scrapyard was always worth a visit. Still got a few things salvaged. Stored in a "special tools" box. To use it on the Mog I had to bend the shank and grind the end thinner. There's always one bolt/nut that is a problem!

Battery charger., never used in the last 10 years on any of our three cars.
Those days of dynamo's are long gone.
If it won't turn over and the headlights dim on the key - just change it - far too old to be farting around with a charger. It's just not necessary if you take the right preventative actions.
