I had to convert Robbie into Black country dialect to understand it. The Black Country dialect (BCD) is a blend of several different dialects and languages, including Old English, Scandinavian, and Welsh While most Black Country Dialect words are also found in English in other parts of the world, BCD relies very heavily on words of Germanic origin. Four out of five words are Germanic, with virtually no Norse or Welsh, and a few words from French.

So Robbie in BCD is either "A wish fer a pressie to see misen like others see us." or "An 'ope fer a gift ter see misen as others see us."

I think I prefer Robbie in his original tongue.

Realistic prices are selling and this pair is indicative of the REAL market price.
Shame your Dad couldn't manage the short door though.

I think the inescapable facts are now starting to hit home with sellers.
There still seems to be very little interest in buying sports cars/toys at the moment and prices are coming down accordingly.
Private sellers will have to accept that their car isn't worth what it was.
Dealers.........they have a problem with stock that they own outright, so many seem to have cars in stock from last year.

On a positive note.......... If you're a buyer............ fill your boots.....It's a buyers market.....!!!

It's time to grab a bargain, time to fulfill the dream or perhaps get much more than you thought your budget would allow......🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏼

Not so easy with the roof up, but dead easy with no roof on, and the reverse procedure forgetting out, use the cross member to push you up andout. Need to be careful of what trousers/jeans you are wearing so no studs or zips rub against the leather.

Yep my dad had 35 years of Short door Morganeering in a 79 4/4 from new but sadly now age means he isn’t quite as agile as he used to be…

Was also tempted by this… 96 +4 4 seater for £9k which I bid up to.. on the logic of half the miles and and a working hood to my current one.. but CAT D… but that wouldn’t out be off.. the prospect of selling my one did in the end..at least it is a know entity..

The export challenges are killing the market.. as most Morgan’s would of gone for export back in the good times..

Yes another selling for a realistic price, loads of fun for the new owner too.

This is a good thing for the longevity of the spares supply chain for us Traditional owners as it will attract a new set of Morganeers that previously thought a Morgan was way beyond their wallet, it will swell the community as I mentioned in my initial post.

Conversely the CX chassis cars are also but in a new direction both of which are good for the future.

If you don't want the company to succeed don't bother joining TM is my old person take on MMC smile

Bring it on thumbs

The does seem to be 'unusually' good value.......🤷🏻‍♂️
An auction certainly is the way to find the true worth of an asset, whatever you 'want' it to be worth matters little when the buyers decide.
This car hasn't had a single MOT advisory or fail and has sensible mileage for the age. It was a bargain.......!
Although it isn't taxed yet....... which is odd........Did it actually sell I wonder....?

At that age and price you get the 'proper' Morgan experience. It's a real Morgan with a decent engine and all the 'advances' that came with the long door era.
It's all the Morgan anyone would ever need at a price that makes it cheap enough not to worry about.........
