Good evening. Is it ok to use Tyre Weld in wire wheels ?? I understand modern wires are sealed rather than using inner tubes, and was worried about the Tyre Weld damaging that sealant.

I certainly wouldn't use it on my tubeless wires.

If you're meaning proper branded Holts TyreWeld then note it's only a temp repair for minor punctures as a sort of 'get you home' emergency

It is water based so shouldn't damage anything, but should be cleaned out before the tyre is plug repaired

If you want to inject a preventative goop to stay in the tyre, there are specific types
