Lovely photos Richard.

I think there is an equal amount of joy in sharing your Morgan with others, answering their questions and listening to people's stories about their own Morgan experiences (more often than not: my Dad/grandfather/Uncle/etc had one), as there is to driving one!

Thank you Simon, much appreciated as I am very aware of my air time and possibly too many posts and opinions and I trust you will give the nod if that is a general feeling ..anytime.

As you commented kindly about the pictures of the girls I'll share what happened within minutes of me putting the travelling essential toolroll, udder wipes and footpump back in the passenger footwell from the car park..An HD German vw passatish car pulled up alongside and the driver came over and asked all about the car in a very interested way as had the previous ladies.

So the full bonnets up and brief run through of everything and posing, it was a party of 5 youngish ladies. The one common question both sets asked was the age,, I replied "she is my twenty six year old" with a big smile they all got it as we laughed at the moment. I rounded it off by adding that my wife is more than happy about the arrangement after 53 years of marriage.

It made my day sharing and enjoying their enthusiasm grouphug

Absolutely, this year I am thinking of doing a few short trips out in her with passengers to support CHSW as a close friend of ours (no children) is a real mover within Dartmouth area, now we are not into bingo, craft markets etc but they serve refreshments in the Council run tea hut and it's become habitual for us to pop down with card machine and pay the rental for the day not big money.

I thought this year we would do a little extra, thinking out loud here, perhaps a better direction to go (insurance wise) would be to offer a top prize of a return trip over Dartmoor in the 26er to Bovey Castle for a bit of lunch that we could donate to their raffle. BC rustles up a decent bit of scran I stayed for a week on a legal training course.

Can I suggest that the prizewinner is a "friend" for insurance purposes so ignore highlighting the fact or negotiate a days cover is that possible even...

Does anyone know please the best way to go about it..

What fantastic weather for National Drive it Day.
Ten Morgans from MSCC Mendip Centre toured around the twisty B roads of South Wales with amazing views along the way, taking in Penelope’s Cafe at Goytre Wharf for a coffee and cake break and then onto The Old Black Lion Hotel at Hay-on-Wye for an excellent lunch. Return home via Hereford and Monmouth following the Wye valley. For us, just on 200 miles.
(Original rendezvous point in the morning was scheduled to be at Severn View Services on the M48, but probably due to a Classic Car Show at Chepstow, the queues into the services stretched back to the motorway and only moved exceedingly slowly.)
