i gave the car a good clean and wash this morning and good practice i always give the top of the engine a dry from water getting in under the louvres.Today I lifted the sponge filter to give it a clean and noticed the water drain from the box was directly on top of a large choc box connector with blue and red wires which was full of water. Now sprayed cleaned and taped I bet yours are exactly the same.

That doesn't sound like a standard MMC connector or location. Did the factory or dealer fit an optional extra in that area I'm wondering

I checked my 2022 Plus Four. There is no connector but it does look possible to add a drain pipe to the outlet to divert water further away. The drain is just above the white label and below the other pipe that crosses the photo ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2025/06/27/1000042742.jpg)

Morgan never managed water issues properly, whether there's a box under a drain or not. The laterTrads have drains emerging from the heater box, which are improved by adding a length of clear tubing. Its such a simple inexpensive add-on that it makes no sense not to have done it in build.
Ignoring the fact that louvres will soak the engine in wet weather never made sense, when a simple cover would fix it. Thats the Morgan way.
