Probably been asked before but I’m new to all this so can anyone advise on a good quality grease gun that I can use on my 2014 4/4 front suspension.

Thanks .

All you need to know (allegedly)..

Not critical my Draper is 56 years old now, but clearing the road crud off the nipples is before you start and don't use too much or you will contaminate the brake discs, once you see the old grease emerging around the bottom you have enough just wipe the excess off and away you go.

There is very little romantic about forcing grease through a small orifice laugh2

I use a Wanner grease gun that we have had for over 60 years and still works perfectly.

Me too, but mine's a mere stripling at around 45 years.

Bought my Wanner on Ebay following recommendations on here.

Very happy with it and small enough for single handed operation and carrying if on a long tour away from home.

Several on Ebay Wanner grease guns

I have an old Tecalmit grease gun that looks identical to the above .... nice and neat with a swivelling arm so fits most places..... had it so long I suspect I was given it to chew on when I was teething!! 🙂

Thanks that’s very helpful.

Do these Wanner guns take a cartridge for do you hand fill the gun?

Hand fill - bit of a ballache, but only have to fill two or three times a year so no great issue. I use a teaspoon smile
