ECU Cover Plus 4
The ECU cover on the current Plus 4 can allow water into the area above the passenger foot well. This is a left hand drive car. The water then can drip through the cable grommet onto the passengers legs.
In the photos you can see the top edge (and part of the side) of the cover has now been sealed with "100 mile an hour tape". It was not completely sealed so that any water that did get inside could dry out.
In the second photo you canb see a rubber tube has been fitted to the lower of the two aluminium tubes comming out of the heater (aircon) box. This allows any water comming out of the tube to drain away at a lower level. It seems to be only required on the lower of the two tubes.

I have not see this on the 4/4 set up but worth keeping an eye out.

I had the same problem with the heater drains on my 2002 4/4. Did the same thing, took a piece of pipe to the edge of the chassis and no more problems. I think at speed the under bonnet air pressure is too much for the water to drain out. Take a pipe down and cut a backward facing angle on it and the water is drawn out. Good theory anyway!
