Out on the Whisky Trail
But didn't stop for whisky...how's that for will power? A run from Aberdeen along the Suie Road, over the Cabrach to Dufftown, Craigellachie, Aberlour, Ballindalloch, Cromdale, Tomintoul then over the Lecht and Glen Gairn to Crathie before going down South Deeside back home. Stayed dry throughout though mainly because the rain that threatened on Glen Gairn turned out to be snow. Summer must be nearly here. Lots of fresh snow on the mountains and some dramatic light too.

Fantastic views but I would definitely have had to make a wee stop. Truth be told, I did have several wee stops. I blame the cold and too much coffee before setting off.

In the early 90s I changed the sliding pillar suspension to the tubular bar and two shockers . On arriving at Mog 93 one mog owner asked what it was like . I told him I had a full pot of tea befor I set off and never stopped on the way down . His reply " it must be good then" .
