I could wynd you all up and tell you it's my holiday home, but It's not my gaff, I only rented a room for the night on the way home from the factory.  That's Dalston Hall in Carlisle, the owner/manager is a bit of car enthusiast and splendid host. We arrived in the dark and it had rained all the way from malvern, we had a lovely dinner, but i just couldnt settle with the thought of car being dirty. To my wife's embarrassment, I asked to borrow some stuff and the use of a hose to wash her ( the Morgan that is, my wife was clean enough, my car doesn't leak!), the boss and his family all came outside with us and we chatted well into the night while i washed the car, a very enjoyable stay. The roller is his and he has several other interesting classics. I'd highly recommend a vist, for the best rooms at the best price, phone him directly.
