wanted to reach out to the community and see if anyone had any leads on the best place to buy pounds for my new M3W that is more or less done. My importer was getting 1.585 from his bank and wasn't pleased with the rate.
current rate is 1.513 today. would love any insights from you guys.
I'm in san francisco for whatever it's worth and so is my importer (isis imports).

I always use Hargraves Lansdown in the UK ... www.hl.co.uk ... no link just always been pleased.

I have used XE Trade from Australia and have found them very good. They are North American based (Canada) so you should not have any problems. http://www.xe.com/xetrade/

all done and paid for now. was a less than ideal exchange rate but not horrible. makes me feel better about the fact i'm not having to do this a couple years ago as it would of cost me a small fortune for my M3W as the exchange rate was brutal going from US Dollars to Pounds.
car is off to london heathrow (if not already there) and will be flown to the US this week. so excited.
