Hi Boshly, that is something that I need to properly check, since I had some water between the seats (but it was "clear" to me where it was coming from). What is driving me mad is the leather door sill. I need to identify exactly where it comes from.

Thats it ALE72 i can see you are really getting into the spirit of owning a Morgan Window reset. do this as a continues actionignition on :- press switch to extend window to the full down position, once down hold switch open for 10 seconds, immediately press switch to extend window into the up position hold switch for 10 seconds. Window should be set, repeat for the other window. Once mastered you can do both together if your arms are long enough.

I get water on the inside leather sills of my Aero 8 S3 when it rains hard. This is a lot better since the roof was made pretty much weather-tight but water still seems to end up there.
I realise the door design is completely different between my car and an SS, but the fact that both get water on the sill could suggest it's coming in somewhere else than the door tops. Perhaps it drips down the leading edge of the doors down by the hinges and just ends up on the sill. Dunno!
I might try pouring some water down the leading edge of the door to see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if the water tracks the bottom of the door (and may also get in through the leading edge). Good luck...
My boot stays dry! Hurrah.

Thats it ALE72 i can see you are really getting into the spirit of owning a Morgan Ahahahah, I have a lot of good ideas, but my skills are not as good as the goodwill. I had a 2004 Z4 3.0i so I am used to the reset procedure after battery exchange (or more often, flat battery :P) I realise the door design is completely different between my car and an SS, but the fact that both get water on the sill could suggest it's coming in somewhere else than the door tops. Perhaps it drips down the leading edge of the doors down by the hinges and just ends up on the sill. Dunno!

I wouldn't be surprised if the water tracks the bottom of the door (and may also get in through the leading edge). Good luck... yes, I definitely need to do it. The nice/horrible thing is that I cannot do it in any open spot since as always there are too many people stopping and staring at the car, ahahah. And I spend more time explaining than doing My boot stays dry! Hurrah. Yeeeee!!! Mine as well!!!!

Dont think many will have had the Door Cards off, and if they have the are "with all respect" DIY Men and do not attempt it every day. You can do some severe damage to the Card if you apply force in the wrong area. I can see the panel as some Press clips in, you need to either purchase or make a SPOON/FORK this is to remove these Clips, then gentle ease the panel away from the frame of the Door until you can see some sort of holding, with a little force the Door Card should pop off however it is inevetable you will break some of the retianing Clips, thats why we nicked named them "ONCES" because they only work Once.

I had done some DIY here and there on my previous cars and I am not afraid of the work itself. Nevertheless I like to share information and, before starting to do something I always try to read as much as I can, learn from other people experience, picture the work that I am going to do and anticipate any issue I already foresee. Usually a great source for this kind of information are bulletin boards and forums. Having said that I am not sure that the spoon solution is the right one. Not for the tool itself that anyhow will probably ruin the leather but on the sequence. If you look at the picture above you will see that the door card is not coming out in one piece. I imagine that items 12 and 15 will be the ones to be taken away first. Panel 1 seems to be kept in place through screws numbered as 3. Where I am stuck is how to remove the quilter leather panel that is covering part 1 and part 13.
But, as you said, I do not think that in here there are too many people who made this job by themselves and I imagine that who did it went through a dealer since the car is not a prerogative of "old school Morgan owners" yet.

As my Master Engineer once said to me, if a Man put it together, a Man can take it apart
