This may be a daft question, but many years ago I spotted a four wheeled Morgan with a folded down windscreen and two Brooklands flyscreens on the dash top scuttle.
Can you still get folding windscreens in this day & age, and are there any for or against I wonder?
Interesting question. I hadn't seen any on a later 4 wheeled car until I bought my 1986 Plus 8. It has one. I folded it down once and the stuck on black plastic rear view mirror stuck up in the air and looked absolutely dreadful, and a little comical, so I quickly put the windscreen back up. (I soon changed to a smaller mirror, the kind on the metal rod that goes from top to bottom of the screen.) I don't have the brooklands screens though.

Depends on the year of the car and the screen fitting . I tried to get hold of one for a lad with a recent +4 and its a no no. so he got the pillars sprayed the same colour as the car.

once had aero screens on 70s 4/4 was hit in (fortunately) sunglassed face by large stone. bought some new sunglasses and reverted to full w/screen. thankful to have full eyesight.
The limited edition 4/4s produced in around 2006 had, I think, folding screens and heated windscreens but they didn't have the easy up roof. I haven't seen anyone offering folding screens for cars with the easy up roof and the screen pillars would need modifying should anyone wish to go down this route but pretty sure pre 2003 cars can still be converted and parts are available from the usual specialists
There's a point where the tumblehome of the screens changed and according to John Worrall , Steve Simmonds and Allon Whites, the folding mechanism will not work due to the angle. Around 2008 I seem to recall. I tried for ages with my 2010 4/4 to find a solution and gave up. I fitted aero screens and just took off the screen from the body. I'd love to do something with the Roadster but the cast screen pillars are not quite as simple. I'm hoping a certain dealer may develop a solution one day! A bit more spaniel stroking is needed
