Has anyone had a failure of the weld holding a retaining catch to the header rail. If so, how do you separate the hood fabric from the header rail to enable rewelding?

I think that is not an easy DIY option but needs specialist attention: where are you in the UK? There are a number of dealers with good trim shops who can do it.

Has anyone had a failure of the weld holding a retaining catch to the header rail. Yes, me. Took it to Allon White in Cranfield who brought in a specialist TIG welder. Now better than new.

Detach the side arms, remove the rubber seal, take out 11 wood screws and it's off!
