Anyone got any experience of using Freeway Rescue for breakdown / recovery, particularly in Europe? Any experiences of any European recovery greatly appreciated

When my Elise was van-rammed and written off in France in June this year the RAC were very efficient, with a joined up service providing taxis and a hire car with the minimum of delay and no hassle

I have used Freeway in the UK and they were extremely efficient. Can't comment on Euope usage as not used them there.

I have used the AA European cover for many years. A couple of years ago my Roadster sheared off the lower hose spigot from it's radiator. The AA were superb, English speaking contact on emergency telephone who was fluent in French, spoke to garage recovery driver for us, organised Mog repatriation, hotels, taxis and one way hire cars from Southern France right back to our home in the UK. Superb service.
