Howdy!
Can anyone confirm the origin of the Willow Green colour offered by Morgan (per our own Plus 4 in that colour)?
From what I can tell it is an original Jaguar colour offered on E-Types from circa 1969-73...and often with a tan leather interior (or Butterscotch as in our Morgan). So is our Willow Green an original Jaguar colour and is our colour combo with the tan interior replicating the E-Type?
The world is full of coincidences, and as an example, we are just back from a trip down to our house in France, where a neighbour suggested we visit a local classic car dealership just a 10 minute drive away. We couldn't believe it when we arrived to discover that the dealership is in fact an authorised Morgan Service Centre. (That'll be handy)
Not only that...but sitting in the showroom amidst a few million euros worth of cars, was a 1972 E-Type, you've guessed it...in Willow Green. (Black interior though)

A few others in stock...

Another interesting observation was that the owner ( a long established and respected classic car dealer) became very animated on his perceived impact of Brexit on Morgan car sales in France. Basically, he is convinced that the French will no longer buy "British Morgans" in protest post-Brexit. I didn't want to get into the politics, but did point out that Morgan was now under Aston Martin control...but he simply replied with that typical "Gallic Shrug"!
