Hello everyone
So on the third day of ownership, my 3-wheeler is not starting.
When I turn the ignition on and press the start button, it just makes some loud clicking noises but the engine does not turn.
Video of what is going on
Any ideas what the heck is happening?
Thanks for your help!

I checked the battery connections and they look tight. I can tighten some more. I also tried to jump-start using a DieHard jumpstarter battery but the same outcome. Although I am not sure maybe the DieHard needs to be charged. I don't think I've re-charged it since I bought it 2 years ago and have used it 2-3 times on my Land Rover and John Deere riding lawnmower.

Try cleaning the battery to cable connections. If they are dirty where they contact each other it can give that symptom.

Looked at the battery connections. They look pretty clean. But I took them off and tightened them some more. Still the same outcome.
Probably the battery. Will find out for sure once the DieHard is done charging. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, Stephen.

Happy to try and help.

I have had batteries that “”looked” clean but when sandpaper or a wire brush (preferred method) is used then the engine turned over when before it just clicked.

looks like the dash panel instruments extinguish when you try start the car, bad battery? or perhaps a short or bad connection, if you put the car in gear can you turn the engine over.

pursume car is not in gear when you try to start?

Almost certainly your battery is dead and so is your jumpstarter. Put the battery on a charger for several hours, then once you have the engine running think about fitting a larger capacity one. The puny 30 amp hour one is a weak point on 5 speeders.

Toggle the display in the rev counter to voltage. It should be about 12.4 volts with the ignition on.

Sounds like flat battery and/or poor connections on high current (starter) circuit - typical symptoms with this form of non-starting. Looking at connections is insufficient, you have to get the spanners out and make sure all connections are clean and tight. You'll have to disconnect in order to clean things... smile
